I need a little help from my friends....

Can you give me a hand?

I am hoping that one of my wonderful blogging friends could help me out...I am setting up my Teacher Notebook Store and am wondering what is the best way to make images of the pages of my products. I know how to create a screen shot but I am sure there has to be an easier way to go about it. Please leave a comment if you have a suggestion!

As a thank you, I plan to have a new product and a sale at Teachers Notebook!

Hi there! Once I have it in a PDF format, I use the "Snipping Tool". It is in my Accessory tools. I can take a screen shot and save it as a PNG. Another option (if you create the product in Power Point) is to save it as PNG. I hope that helps.

I always save my documents as a JPEG and do it that way. Hit Save As, then where it says Format, drop it down and choos JPEG or however you like to save your images! Hope that helps some!

Caitlin~ I have a question. When my document originates as a Word Doc, the "Save As JPEG" is not one of my options. Do I need to do something to my settings to make this happen? Or do you use a different program to create your documents.

Thanks!

I use Publisher and it allows me to save each slide as a JPEG or PNG.

I make everything in Power Point... I save as PDF and JPEGs. I use the JPEGS to show pics on my blog and in the store. The PDF is what I download for the digital purchase!!! Hope this helps... if you didn't use publisher or PP take a screen shot and load it to your store or open it up in PP and then save as a jpeg... hope this helps and GOOD luck!!!

I upload my PDF to Google Docs, then right click on the page that I want to use as a preview and save the image.

DeeDee--I make everything in PowerPoint. I don't think you can save it as an image in Word. Love me some PowerPoint! :) Hope that helps!

I do what Caitlin does except I make everything in Publisher which allows you to save as JPG and that works for me. Word won't let you do that so I really don't use Word much anymore. I like Publisher because you can add pages between others and move them around.

I love Power Point because it is so easy to manipulate images. Word makes my hair gray... ok... grayer. I have not tried Publisher... I will look into it for sure!

Thank- you for this post! I am new to the blogging community and would love to someday post some items on tpt & teacher's notebook. This really does help me, as I too, only knew how to take a screen shot but wasn't too sure about the rest of the process.

Thanks again!!
